On the right side reading from left to right
transliteration: Ntr nfr nb t3.wy wsr-m3't-r' stp-n-r' s3 r' nb kha? r'-ms-sw mry-imn di 'nh mi r'
translation: the perfect god, lord of the two lands, "powerful is the justice of Re, chosen of Re" (this is the pharoahs throne name in the first cartouche). The son of Re, lord of apparitions?Ramesses, beloved of Amun (this is the pharoahs birth name). Bestowed life like Re.
On the left side reading from right to left
transliteration: Dd mdw r' hr'hty a' ntr nb pt. di=n 'nh Dd w's.
translation: Words spoken for Re-Horahkty, great god of the sky, given life, stability, and power. The egyptian hieroglyphs class I took at UCLA truly enhanced my visit to Egypt. I spent much more time viewing the temple inscriptions than any other tourist.
